Our method consists of teaching the target language directly, without resorting to translation into your mother tongue. Immersion is the cornerstone of our teaching, proven effective whatever the target language. We recreate real-life situations. Correction is essential and systematic. A mistake corrected with a smile is the road to success. At each lesson, the teacher will give you their correction notes. As well as material that is constantly being improved, we use authentic documents: radio extracts, newspapers, advertisements, videos, etc. The class is dynamic, creative, stimulating, and fun.
AEL Academia does not train adults in the same way as children. Adults do not perceive language in the same way as school students. Their learning profiles are also very varied, ranging from those who want to learn by doing to those who prefer a structured, more academic course. Learning by rote, knowledge tests or uniform teaching in a class are all part of school life and should not be transposed unchanged to adult education. The content taught must be relevant to their everyday lives: relevant topics, common turns of phrase, professional vocabulary.

AEL ACADEMIA certification
Most importantly, once you have reached a level, you will receive an AEL ACADEMIA certificate which confirms your new skills. In addition, at AEL ACADEMIA we offer 7 learning levels specifically designed for learning French. Each level corresponds to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Common reference levels (A1 to C2)
The overall language proficiency scale shows three general levels subdivided into six common levels (in the sense of broad consensus):
Level A: elementary user (= compulsory schooling)
A1 introductory or discovery level = Level 1 at AEL ACADEMIA
A2 intermediate or common level = Level 2 at AEL ACADEMIA
Level B: independent user (=high school)
B1 threshold level = Level 3 at AEL ACADEMIA
B2 advanced or independent level = Level 4 at AEL ACADEMIA
It corresponds to "limited operational competence" or "appropriate response in routine situations".
Level C: experienced user
C1 independent level = Level 5 at AEL ACADEMIA
C2 mastery level = Level 6 at AEL ACADEMIA
Level 7 at AEL ACADEMIA is perfect bilingualism.
This common framework also exists for English and Spanish learning.
