Anne-Emmanuelle Lejeune's journey in language education is nothing short of remarkable. After earning her teaching certification in French and history in Belgium in 1994, she embarked on an illustrious career.

Starting with a year of teaching French in Molenbeek, Brussels, Anne-Emmanuelle quickly transitioned to becoming a teacher of French as a foreign language in multinational companies and at the European Commission. In 1999, she moved to Quebec, where she left an indelible mark on the field of education.

Her experience extended beyond the classroom. Anne-Emmanuelle ventured into the world of Montreal publishing, securing her first contracts, and showcasing her linguistic prowess. Eventually, she returned to her passion for teaching, this time focusing on native French speakers within the public school system. In late 2022, Anne-Emmanuelle introduced the AEL ACADEMIA website. Originally a French academy, it has expanded to include Spanish, English, and Italian. This transformation was driven by the enriching encounters in her life. The academy now offers full translation, interpreting, writing, and revision services in French.
